Teachers:
For over ten years, The CAG Teacher Institute's goals have been to provide professional development opportunities for educators by defining what differientiated curriculum means and how it can be implemented in classrooms. CAG will continue toward this goal by extending the meaning of differientiated curriculum as it relates to the new GATE standards for program development and implementation. |

Parents:
Parent seminar will focus on what constitutes a quality education for gifted students and how to extend these elements into the home with parents as educators. The academic and psychosocial needs of gifted students will be addressed. Well-informed parents are essential in meeting the challenge of raising the gifted child. CAG has a commitment to educate and support parents in nurturing their gifted children. Parent Institutes provide an opportunity to develop skills in understanding and parenting their gifted children, in advocacy, and in assessing and supporting programs and curriculum for gifted students. |
